AnmumTM Essential Gold Step 3 and Step 4 are both scientifically formulated growing up milk powders for children 1-3 years old and 4-9 years old respectively, which contains:

  • The highest DHA level among major brands of formulated milk powder for kids as of December 2025; that helps meet the experts’ recommendation, Gangliosides, MFGM, Sphingomyelin, sialic acid, and choline. Studies showed that gangliosides help in brain cell connections while Sphingomyelin helps in the formation of myelin sheath on the brain cells for faster brain cell connections.
  • Probio DR10TM (Bifidobacterium lactis HN019) and prebiotic. Study has shown that both Probio DR10TM and prebiotic reduced respiratory infection by 35% and fever days in children.
  • Studies have shown that lutein is an important component in protecting your eye by filtering blue light.6

 

While AnmumTM Essential Step 3 is scientifically formulated for children 1-3 years old, and Step 4 is scientifically formulated for children 4-9 years old. Anmum™ Essential contains:

Both AnmumTM Essential Gold and AnmumTM Essential have no added sugars and maltodextrin. Both of these products provide your child/children the nutrients that he/they need without unnecessary add on.

i. MFGM

MFGM is the naturally occurring milk fat globule membrane (MFGM) which contains gangliosides, phospholipids (including sphingomyelin) and other bioactives. Like DHA, MFGM components are found abundantly in the brain, and supports brain development.

ii. DHA

DHA stands for Docosahexaenoic Acid which is a type of Omega 3 fatty acid which can be found abundantly in the brain. Study also showed that DHA is important for brain and eyes development.

iii. Gangliosides

Gangliosides are highly concentrated in the brain, particularly the part that is responsible for complex thinking, planning and decision making. Study also showed gangliosides help in brain cell connections which is important for learning and memory.

Prebiotics are food for good bacteria in our gut and help to promote their growth for good gut environment. This is a beneficial ingredient added into the growing up milk powder. Good gut environment is important for optimal nutrient digestion and absorption, which greatly helps your child’s growth and development.

The best way is to check the Ingredients List on the product label. Look out for the names of added sugars – common examples: Corn syrup solids, Glucose syrup solids,  or anything that ends with "-ose". If these names are listed, it means there are added sugars in the product. AnmumTM Essential formulated milk powder for growing children has no added sugars**.

When a product label says "no added sugars" it means that no sugar was added during the manufacturing of the product. The product may still contain naturally-occurring sugars such as Fructose in fruits and Lactose in milk.
